Travel: What I can’t live without when I travel

Hello Everyone!

I love traveling. I travel all the time, all over the world. Although, I hate when I don’t have my travel essentials. The best part? I can fit all of these into my carryon! Light travel, and safe travel is the way to go!

BPA Free Water Bottle

I never buy bottled water. I always have my water bottle on hand! BPA free means that it is free of carcinogens, which can cause cancer. Re-usable water bottles are great for the environment, and can save you tons of money. Plus, bottled water is less regulated in the United States than tap water. So essentially, buying a bottle of water means you could be buying water that is worse for you! EEK! That is not good. I usually purchase my water bottles from Amazon. Here is a cute rose gold one that I found!

Of course you need to put all of your stuff into something in order to travel! A backpack is the easiest way to go about this. Also, if you get one that is big enough, you don’t have to worry about checked baggage. Usually backpacks are considered carryon’s so you are in the clear! In a later post, I will teach you how to fit everything into your backpack so that you can travel easily. Plus, not having checked baggage saves you a ton of money on flights! That means more money for more traveling! Win Win! Here I have included a link to an Eddie Bauer backpack that I use on my travels.

Although, if that is a little too pricy for you, then consider this one that I used to use when I just started out traveling!

Neck Pillow, Sleep Mask, and ear plugs

Okay, so I am the first to admit I do NOT sleep without a sleep mask. Every single day I must have this, or else sleep is not going to happen. So when you are traveling, I highly recommend that you buy a neck pillow, as this allows you to sleep pretty much anywhere, plus on top of that, having ear plugs helps block out that annoying baby that just cant stop crying. I have been there, it is not fun. Here is a link to a travel set for a neck pillow, sleep mask, and ear plugs. PLUS, it includes a little travel bag! Whoo hoo!

Every single day you should wear sunscreen! Please! For the sake of your skin! The sun can cause wrinkles, and pre mature aging! When you wear sunscreen, this can help limit the effects the sun has on your skin! Plus, it can help protect against cancer! You don’t want to get sick! Even if you are staying indoors, I highly recommend wearing sunscreen. I wear Bare REPUBLIC CLEARSCREEN sport sunscreen Gel. It smells sooooo good!! They have one that smells like Coconuts and Mangos. I get so many compliments from other people. Even people I don’t know, LOL. I don’t wear perfume, I only wear this, and on top of all of that, it was orginally recommended by my dermatologist!

Bare Republic has the following promise for this product as well!

OUR PROMISE: • Non-GMO • Vegan Friendly • Cruelty-Free • Paraben-Free • Phthalate-Free • Synthetic Colorant-Free • Synthetic Fragrance-Free • Oxybenzone-Free • Octinoxate-Free • Retinyl Palmitate-Free

Chap Stick and Hand Lotion

Personally, I cannot live without chap stick and hand lotion! The dryness just gets to me. It is awful! I usually buy a travel pack that includes both of these, you know, for traveling. Lol. On top of that, I love buying Burts Bees from Amazon. They have 2 hour delivery, plus, they can deliver to wherever you are. If 2 hour delivery is not located where you currently are, you can do 2 day shipping and have it delivered to where you are going to be. Most places are super nice, and know the policy for packages. If a package goes missing, let Amazon customer service and they will replace it! They can be super nice! If someone isn’t nice to you, just hang up and call again. I have been on the receiving end of poor customer service before! It is no fun! Although, Amazon aims to please its customers!

PanOxyl Acne Foaming Wash 10% Benzoyl Peroxide

Please! Oh please try this! I have been using this face wash for 10 years, and I have never switched from it. I have clear skin, and it was originally recommended by dermatologist. I didn’t have to go back to her for 10 years thanks to this face wash! I just recently went back because I wanted input on what sunscreen I should buy. Just be warned, the 10% Benzoyl Peroxide is pretty tough. If you get it on your clothes, it wont come out. So please be careful! Use a wash rag that you don’t care about as well. Otherwise, it is well worth the investment! One tube lasts me 4 months!

Travel Blow Dryer

I love my blow dryer! It is super small, cute, ionic, and portable. Mine is a small black Conair one, that I got for $30 when it had been originally $100! Score! I like this one, especially since it reminds me of DryBar blow dryer.

Here is the DryBar blow dryer set! It is super cute, and has all the essentials you need along with a cute carry bag. Although it is a little bit pricier, it will last you a lifetime!

Mason Pearson Hair Brush

Have you ever heard of a Mason Pearson hair brush? Well if you haven’t, you are in for a surprise! They are super gentle on your hair, make your hair glossy, and last a lifetime if you take care of it! I love the pocket mixture hairbrush as it feels like my scalp is getting a massage. I could do it for hours if I didn’t know better. It may be a bit pricy, but it is completely worth it!

I also recommend buying the Mason Pearson cleaning tool as well, as it does not come with the pocket sized versions of their brushes.

Travel Adapter

If you travel outside of the US, please use a travel adapter! You don’t want your electronics blowing up or anything catching on fire! Here is one that amazon sells that is a super cute blue color!

Well, that is all my travel essentials besides the basics like toothbrushes, floss, etc! Please check back soon to see my new post about how to pack all of these things, plus my clothes and other essentials, into a carryon!
